Cancellation and Refund Terms
Last updated: 8 August 2026 · v2.3
1. Uniform non-refundable accommodation policy
All accommodation bookings made through Beyond Stay are non-refundable. After confirmation, the guest may not cancel the booking, change the booked dates or transfer the booking to another property. This rule is uniform across all accommodation properties and is disclosed before payment.
2. No-show and early departure
No-show, late arrival or voluntary early departure does not create a right to a refund, credit or transfer of value to another booking.
3. Mandatory-law and non-performance exceptions
The non-refundable policy does not exclude or restrict remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. If Clarity or the Accommodation Provider cannot provide the confirmed stay, or if mandatory law requires a refund or other remedy, the applicable remedy will be provided. Depending on the circumstances this may include an appropriate alternative, rescheduling where expressly agreed, or a refund.
4. Refund method where a refund is due
Where a refund is legally due or expressly approved because the confirmed stay cannot be performed, card refunds are submitted to the original payment method where possible. Bank-transfer refunds are processed manually to verified bank details supplied by the booking holder. Bank or payment-network processing times remain outside Beyond Stay’s control.
5. Bank-transfer pending bookings
A pending bank-transfer booking must be verified by an administrator within one (1) hour from its creation. If verification is not completed in that period, the pending booking expires automatically. A new booking requires a fresh price and availability check. Expiry of an unconfirmed bank-transfer booking is not a cancellation of a confirmed stay.
6. Experiences and separate services
Experiences and services are handled separately from the accommodation booking. Their cancellation terms are those stated in the separate proposal accepted by the guest and are not governed by the accommodation non-refundable rule unless the proposal expressly says so.
7. Date-specific withdrawal exception
The general 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts does not normally apply to accommodation, car-rental, catering or leisure services supplied for a specific date or period. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
8. Damage claims are separate
Any refund that is legally due does not automatically release a guest from a separately documented claim for damage, loss, exceptional cleaning or another lawful claim arising from conduct during the stay. Such claims follow the evidence and response process in the Booking Terms.
